One...Two...

Just wanted to share our exciting news...well exciting to us. After bathtime, we discovered that Quinn has her second tooth popping through. Now she has both bottom front teeth. It explains her fussiness at daycare yesterday morning, and boy does she love to chew on things. She was really going to town on her rubber ducky. I will try to snap a picture of her pearly whites in the next few days.

A Tooth and an Eye

Quinn had quite a few rough days last week. We couldn't figure out why she was so fussy at night, but on Saturday we noticed something white popping through her little gums. Yes...her first tooth. Then we noticed that she was rubbing her eyes, and we just figured she was exhausted from all the disruptions in her sleep. As we looked closer we realized that her one eye was starting to get pink. We called the doctor and they told us to hold off on coming in, but by Monday we took her and discovered it was pink eye. She was very needy and clingy this weekend and loved having daddy stay home with her on Monday, while she was recovering. She is almost back to old self, but we are worried that teething is going to be difficult for her. Let's hope not!

Yes, that's my toe in my mouth
Mom why did you make me stop eating my feet? They're clean.

Quinn is 7 months today!

Blogging has slowed since I have been back to work. It has been hectic to say the least. I started back the day after we returned from St. Louis. We had a blast and even brought Quinn to two baseball games. She was a hit and handled the noises quite well. She spent most of her time entertaining the people sitting behind us. She was showing off her Gene Simmons tongue. I don't know how she keeps that whole thing in her mouth! Here are a few pictures from that weekend:

Quinn is 7 months today. She is keeping mommy and daddy on their toes. She is beginning to squirm around and puts everything in her mouth. She can get herself into a crawling position but just rocks back and forth. This just started last week. She is great at sitting, but hasn't figured out how to get herself in that position on her own. She has been eating baby food for the past month and her system is still trying to get used to it all. Her favorite is bananas, but they give her the most trouble. She has adjusted extremely well to daycare. She smiles and laughs when she gets there and is happy and yelling when we pick her up. She is one loud girl. Her new sound is: Da-da. She says this over and over at the top of her lungs. We would like to think she is calling out for Andy, but I don't think she is quite there yet. She recognizes her name and will respond if you call to her. She also loves peek-a-boo and throwing her toys off her high chair.
She has been sick the past couple days with a runny nose and a cough. This has caused her to wake up quite frequently in the middle of the night. Mommy and daddy are zombies right now. She went to the doctor today and he said she should be over it within a few days. Cross your fingers!

Here are some more pictures of her with family and friends this past month:
