The girls have been very busy in the past week. A friend reminded me that I should write these special memories down in the blog. Enjoy!
-Molly decided to "paint" her forehead and hair with fast drying nail polish, while I was in the shower. This was in a top drawer in the bathroom that she obviously can now reach and quickly managed to unscrew it. Mid-shower, soap in hair I leapt out to grab it from her. Then I proceeded to wipe her down with nail polish remover. Luckily it was clear! I was able to complete the shower and get to work on time. Miracle, pure miracle.
-As I was making dinner the girls took the ground pepper container off the counter and poured it all over the floor. They were practically swimming in it. Next came tears and a frantic mommy trying to flush their eyes and mouths out with water. That didn't go over so well. They did survive without any visual impairments, just potentially some post traumatic stress.
-While I decided to run errands during tornado winds (don't recommend it) Andy stayed home with the girls. I came home just in time to put Quinn down and she says, "oh by the way I cut my hair today and it's behind my dresser with daddy's scissors." Really... Apparently she wanted to cut it like the girls do in the movie Parent Trap. Fortunately, her hair is thick and she didn't cut the top layer. It could have been way, way worse. I am glad she has a conscience and can't lie. I think it's all the God and Santa always know talks. I was also happy that it happened during Andy's watch this time. I swear we are good parents and watch our kids closely, but they are sneaky and fast, really fast.
