Molly 8 months

Molly continues to be an easy going baby and is so smiley.  She sleeps through the night and takes two to three naps a day. She is social and just adores Quinn. She likes to grab her face and scratch at her or pull her hair.  Quinn has been handling this well and is learning to give her more space too.  We have had an interesting few weeks with sicknesses, Quinn's 4th birthday party and our basement flood.  We also switched to a closer home daycare, which is one more adjustment.  Our camera is still being repaired so we have gone without pictures for another month.  We did get Nana and Ali to take some pictures during Quinn's birthday so we will add them later. 

Molly's 8 month Stats:
Wears 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
Weighs 18lbs
*She is too squirmy to measure her length
Still no teeth

Likes:
baths
chewing on everything
eating her Mum Mum rice rusks and trying new foods
crawling and standing up on furniture
her activity table (thanks Nana)
laughing at her sister
snuggling

Dislikes:
Stuffy nose (which she has had a lot this month)
Getting her diaper changed

Christmas and More

We had a busy month of celebrating four Christmases, Josh's birthday, my birthday, and New Year's. She even had a special play date with her cousin, Juliana. Molly was a little under the weather over break but you wouldn't have guessed it. She was happy as could be and enjoyed being passed around by all the relatives. We had our Lena friends and Ali and Michael over with all the kiddos on New Year's. The kids rang in the New Year at 7 and then the moms battled to get them to fall asleep from 8 to 10. Eventually the whole gang fell asleep, but Molly woke up ten minutes before the New Year. I think she just didn't want to miss the celebration.  Quinn was so excited to have a sleepover again with her friends. It was nice to have a full week after the holidays to just lay around and play with the girls. We don't get to do that as often as we would like.
