Molly 1 month old

Molly is one month old.  It is hard to believe a month has already passed.  She is still sleeping away and most  nights will sleep through the night.  She loves sleeping in this Fisher Price sling that we borrowed from Caroline. It is the best.  The doctor gave us the okay to let her sleep. Yay!

She was 8lbs 1 oz and 21 inches at her last check-up.  She has been healthy aside from some reflux and a blocked tear duct, and she had to have her little belly button cauterized because it wouldn't heal, but it looks fine now.

First bath. Thrilled.

Starting to attempt to coo

Up for 15 minutes and already tired.

Deep in thought

Attempting to get 1 month shot.

Take two

The best we're gonna do

Focusing too hard and crossing her eyes

She loves this pack n' play mobile (so did Quinn)

Crazy love
Quinn is loving being a sister and thanks me every day that I had the doctor "cut" Molly out.  She can get quite rough and I will catch her squeezing her or trying to lift her out of a sound sleep.  I use the words "gentle and kind" often.  We have been spending a lot of time talking about manners, kindness, and lying.  We use God, Jesus, and Santa in conversation often.  If we know she is lying I will ask her what God would say and then she runs and hides her head into the couch cushions because she doesn't want him to see her. I will catch her looking into the sky and saying sorry to Jesus.  Catholic guilt at an early age won't scar her will it?
