A day in the life of Quinn

"Mom, look I am Mary Poppins"
She is so proud of her new umbrella and belts out, "Singin' in the Rain" as she runs through the yard.
*Check out the do. Now that she knows how to put the clips in herself there are always at least two
shoved into her hairline

• "I am playing school. I am Miss Lisa and this is Miss Leah" (the two secretaries at my school) Then she points to her lined up dolls naming each of her "students" She adds that she works at Johnsburg Lemon-ois (Illinois) School. 
• Mom, I'm just tending (pretending) as her hands are getting closer and closer to her sister's face.(she knows this is an instant timeout so she thinks if she says shes "tending" then she won't get into trouble)
• I want long hair down to my bottom like Barney's friends (hate to break it to her it's not happening and am ashamed I even allowed that show in my house)

• Whenever I ask her if she wants something she often says, "No not really" with a tilt and shake of the head (quite sassy)
• In conversation with herself she is frequently using hand gestures and saying "I realize that I didn't realize..." She loves that word!
• She is always referring to things in 3's: it's 3o'clock, my doll is 3months, your food is 3 dollars, I only need  3 bites.
• She is seen randomly clicking her fingers as she struts around the house.  She thinks she is queen around here and loves to control and manipulate.She is going to be very successful some day!
• She comes up with the craziest names for her dolls:Para, Oatie, Meekie, Leeky,etc.  She had 3 lined up in her room (during nap) and when I came in and asked why she wasn't in bed she explained in a very serious manner:  I am taking care of my 3 babies that I just had taken out of my belly. They were born on the same day. They are sisters, Cora, Bora, and Freckle.  Okay well tell Cora, Bora and Freckle it's time for nap.  No mom they are getting ready for snack. 
• Lately she has been avoiding sleeping at all costs: I need water, you didn't tuck me in right, you didn't kiss me goodnight, I didn't finish my prayers,  my music is too quiet, I need to go potty,and the list goes on and on. This is exactly how my sister Ali was when we were younger and watch Caroline won't pull any of this with her. It is so exhausting and I am ready to ship her out. 
• She most often seen in a long wig and princess costume fluttering around the room attempting to do gymnastics or dance moves. Blackmail someday. :)
• She loves playing restaurant and wearing her waitress outfit to serve us food.  Tonight after serving us multiple meals of spaghetti, ice cream, and tea, she decided that she would switch gears and bring her "twin" babies in the room to feed.  She pulled her shirt up while being covered by a blanket and started nursing one of them.  Should I be concerned????
