It is fun watching the two of them developing a more meaningful sisterly relationship, laughing, snuggling and holding hands together. Molly is becoming quite social in public lately and wants to say hi to everyone she sees. This past month we were able to visit with my grandma "Granny" when my uncle came in from Texas. I love having these moments with her and watching her teach the girls how to play piano and host a special meal (demanding we all eat at least two desserts and drink coffee). I am so fortunate that she has been able to be a part of their lives.
This month has also been spent with adjusting to live back at school and work. I can't say it has been easy, but I think we are finally into a routine. Molly would scream every morning at drop off for a week and a half, which didn't help the transition for her mommy or daddy. Now she says "bye mommy" and gives me a loud kiss on the lips and reaches for Jane and says, "hi Jane." She loves bringing her favorite doll or animal in with her too. She is often seen feeding them bottles or rocking and singing to them. It is like watching her sister all over.
THIS MONTH'S LOVES:
making animal noises (panting, quacking, and neighing to name a few)
favorite words-hi, no, no touch, hi, mommy, daddy, ga/kin aka Quinn, baby, and the one she is most obsessed with is Cookie. She has even gone into full blown laying on the floor tantrums repeating cookie cookie cookie....we have created a little cookie monster.
tickling and getting tickled she will say tickle tickle and wiggle her fingers around
spinning and squatting up and down any time she hears music
reading books sitting in mom's lap
attempting to walk up the stairs
ring around the rosie
blowing bubbles
coloring with chalk or crayons (she and her sister love art like their mommy which is so fun to see)
carrying pumpkins and gourds in the yard stopping to rest and then continuing
sitting on her bean bag chair next to her sister
She is still not quite 20lbs and is a picky eater, but loves her milk, even though it constipates her and she spends many minutes trying to work through it by bracing herself behind a chair or leaning on a wall. She has four teeth on top and three on the bottom, our little jack-o-lantern.
Some moments from this month:

Quinn at the farm. Molly refused to sit on the horse but loved watching and talking to them.

Smiles!
